The Plant Farm combines a real potted plant with a transparent ant habitat built around the outside wall of the planter. The inner pot holds your plant and soil. The outer ring is a dedicated space where ants can safely dig, tunnel, and build a colony that you can see from every angle.

The center planter is reserved for your favorite plant. Around it, a clear outer chamber is filled with ant-friendly substrate, creating a ring-shaped ant farm that wraps around the pot.

Set up your Plant Farm in three simple steps.
No special tools are required. You provide the plant and ants; the Plant Farm provides the stage for both to thrive where you can actually see what’s going on.
Plant the center pot
Add soil and plant your favorite small houseplant or herb in the inner planter. Water as you normally would—this space is kept separate from the ant habitat.
Fill the ant chamber
Fill the outer ring with ant-friendly substrate according to the instructions. This creates the tunneling space that wraps around the plant.
Introduce your ants
Gently introduce your ant colony through the access port, then watch as they explore, dig tunnels, and build their underground network over time.

The Plant Farm is being developed with durability and everyday use in mind, using robust plastics and a layout that keeps the plant and ant habitats separate but visually connected.
Separate inner planter
The plant’s roots stay in their own soil, protected from the ants. This helps the plant grow normally while keeping the habitat simple to maintain.
Outer ant colony ring
The ants live in the outer ring only. The clear wall and slim profile are designed to encourage tunneling near the surface for easy viewing.
Easy access ports
Dedicated access points (on the production unit) make it easier to introduce ants and provide food or moisture without disturbing the plant.
Stable, display-ready base
The base is designed for shelves and desktops, giving the Plant Farm a low center of gravity so it can safely stay on display.
