The Logan House is made of PVC sheet, has a fiber glass roof and aluminum hardware. The house is made to last a lifetime. It has 18 large compartments and all the doors open individually. It has starling resistance entry holes, large porches and porch dividers and there are gates on the back of the doors so that the entrances can opened and closed when the landlord desires. The PVC has great insulating properties and never has to be painted. The house moves up and down the pole with a worm drive winch, which can be powered with a cordless drill with a long extension socket, so that the operator is never under the house as it is being raised and lowered. The compartment size is 12" wide 8" deep and 7" tall. The SREH is offset from the center point of the door to provide more protection from driving rains and preditors. I had the house tested by a biologist for the last two years and it has proved to be superior over other martin housing on the market!
