The Logan House is constructed from durable PVC sheet with a fiberglass roof and aluminum hardware, making it a Purple Martin house designed to last a lifetime. The PVC offers excellent insulating properties and never needs to be painted.
The house features 18 large compartments, each with individually opening doors. Compartments measure 12 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 7 inches tall. The starling-resistant entry holes (SREH) are offset from the center of each door to provide added protection from driving rain and predators.
Large porches, porch dividers, and rear door gates allow the landlord to open or close entrances as desired, offering full control throughout the season.
This design has been tested by a biologist over the past two years and has proven superior to other martin housing currently on the market.
